Senior Software Engineer (Mobile Automation Expertise)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the Product Manager and team to develop and enhance the mobile testing capability of the Studio product.
• Perform detailed technical analysis and design, provide product feedback, break down the feature based on high-level design and business requirements, own, drive and implement the product from start to finish.
• Develop and review code that meets the development standards for code style, design patterns, readability, and maintainability.
• Work with peer engineers to grow the technical accountability of the product to ensure release product quality, stability, security, and performance.
• Identify and contribute to internal engineering working groups to define and build internal libraries, tools, and frameworks for reusability and centralize practices across
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to support customer requests. 
• Support automation QAs and product specialists in maintaining the demo system and writing scripts using new Katalon features to test applications.

Must-have

• Solid experience with one of the JVM-based languages (Java, Groovy).

• Strong foundation in conventional J2SE specifications (Concurrency, Stream, Swing), testing (JUnit, Mockito), etc.

• In-depth understanding of programming paradigms like OOP, reactive programming, and dependency injection.
• Working knowledge of several architectural approaches like MVVM/MVC, pub/sub, queue, etc.
• Experience in automation for mobile apps with Appium solution (Appium clients, Espresso or XCUITest with Appium server)
• Knowledge of *nix environments and shell scripting.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Nice-to-have

• GUI desktop application development experience is a big plus
• Experience in mobile development with native SDK (Android or iOS) or cross-platform frameworks (like Flutter, Reactive Native, Cordova, etc.)
